Westwoods Friends and Family....its that time of year again, now that the
weather is clearing and we get a chance to see how our early plantings fared
through all the storms and what needs to be done around the house and in the
yard. Well if you are anything like me and have big aspirations and not enough
hours in the day, I have included a few references for your home improvement
projects.
Trish from Smoother Strokes Painting does interior and exterior painting.
She has done work for me personally and for many of my clients and we all love
her...her cell # is 720-490-9947 (she does work in and out of the Denver metro
area so if you leave a msg give her a day or two to respond, she is worth the
wait!!)
The old hardwood floors take a beating too so if they need a quick freshen
Rick from Acorn hardwood does a beautiful job...his cell is 303-507-8178.
Need a general handyman call Barry Watkins at 720-810-5879
As a resident and Realtor its always fun to be in the know...so in an
effort to provide a local, friendly place to check in on what is happening, post
things like garage sales, parties, events, HOA info for the different
neighborhoods, etc. Team Fontyn/Gonzales....that’s Lori Fontyn and Vicki
Gonzales of Coldwell Banker decided this would be an easy informative format
without the hassles of mailers or phone calls. So if you
have something you would like to post please do!! This being our first forray at this we don’t really
have a specific format of topics and are open to suggestions from the
community. Since we're Realtors we thought we would keep everyone up to date
on the most recent market intell that we get and mix it in with little bits to
know and tell...
Did you know that at Westwood Golf Course every Friday is Fish Friday?
MMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!
There are 45 single family homes available in the surrounding West Arvada
Neighborhoods and 13 condo/townhomes available...of those only 1% are bank owned
or listed as short sales...which translates to good news for our home values.
Although we have all seen a decline in our property values, the fewer distressed
sales mean that our recovery rate will be better than most! It’s a glass is
half full kinda thing...
